How to Make Jambu Squash

Recipe By Naiya Sheth: As we all know that this is a pick season of very beautiful and healthy fruit Jambu - Jamun. The jamun fruit and jamun leaves are good for diabetes patient. The black plum has anti-diabetic features. In the summer season, sugar patient should eat jamun regularly because of its low glycemic index. Jamun seeds can be used as an effective agent to treat acne. And today we are making very delicious and quick squash from jambu. So, try this home made recipe of jambu squash today.



Preparation time - 10 minutes
Cooking time - nil


Ingredients to make Jambu Squash:

1 cup jambu pulp
3/4 cup sugar
2 table spoon lemon juice
Salt to taste
Black salt to taste
Lots of ice

Method to make Jambu Squash:

  • In a mixer jar add jambu pulp and sugar together.
  • Churn till smooth paste.
  • Now add lemon juice to it. Jambu squash is ready.
  • To serve add 1/4 th part of glass with Jambu squash and then fill it with crushed ice and water. 
  • Add salt to taste.
  • That's it Jambu sharbat is ready to serve.

Tips:

  • Instead of water soda can be used.
